Terms of Service

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using CombineCodes Universal (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is provided by Weiming (“we”, “us”, “our”).

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on macOS devices you own or control, subject to these terms and any applicable App Store terms. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App.

What the App Does

CombineCodes Universal reads source code from directories you select, aggregates them into structured context files, and writes the output to a location you choose. All processing happens locally on your Mac. The App does not modify your source files.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the code you feed into the App and the context files you generate
• You must ensure you have the rights to aggregate and export the source files you select
• You are responsible for how you use the exported context files with downstream services (LLMs, chat interfaces, APIs)
• You should review preflight metrics and exported content before sharing it externally

Intellectual Property

The App does not claim ownership of any code you process. Your source files and generated exports remain your property. The App itself, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Weiming and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Token estimates and file metrics are approximate and should not be relied upon as exact values.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to data loss, accidental disclosure of sensitive content in exported files, or downstream consequences of using generated context with third-party services.

Termination

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
